Ep 3 - Darren Hardy | Former British Army Officer, Extreme Endurance Athlete and Fundraiser | Life in Focus Edition

Welcome to Episode 3 of the No Excuse Podcast and a Life in Focus Story. Meet our inspirational third guest, former British Army Officer, Warrior Games Gold Medalist, Ultra Endurance Athlete, Charity Fundraiser and all-round good guy, Darren Hardy.

Undeterred by the abrupt end to his thriving career, Darren chose to embark on a personal journey to strengthen his mental resilience in a bid to heal from the mental plight that he suffered in Iraq.

Paired with his experience as an Army Physical Training Instructor, Darren trained and persevered, eventually being selected to represent team UK at the 2018 Warrior Games.

Winning two gold medals in 100m and 200m sprint, and setting records in each, Darren proved his determination and resilience.

Such qualities have led Darren to further raise awareness and funds for important charities and causes supporting mental health and veterans, through a series of ultra challenges, including a seventy mile run and 24 hour Army fitness test.

Most recently, Darron has pushed his physical limits further and as an extreme Endurance Athlete, he now undertakes regular Ultra challenges to raise much needed funds and awareness for important causes close to his heart.
